How I was attacked by a Mannequin!


 MEMORY POST FROM "2016":  "How I was Attacked by a Mannequin!"  (TRUE STORY).

  Not one person even Helped me!  I was minding my own business while perusing a thrift store yesterday when all of a sudden this Mannequin's Arm jumped towards my key-ring I was holding in my hand & then it's whole body followed.  

No matter where my key-ring moved to, the arm would follow in that direction! The whole Mannequin had powerful magnets at every joint.  I looked at Teresa and saw her laughing so hard while moving away in another direction!  Meanwhile the weight of the mannequin, which was Heavy Metal under all that fake flesh was now stuck to my belt buckle, the Mannequin suddenly detached itself into 6 pieces that began to weigh me down onto the floor.  

As sunk lower, I yelled: "Will somebody PLEASE Help Me!" (But no one did).  As I finally reached the floor, I tried to fling my big key-ring one direction, but an Arm followed it and body parts heaped on me, crushing me.  I finally managed to push myself away with a Leg still attached to my belt buckle and pulled a dress along with a scarf from my face.  

I got up and tried to assemble the damn thing and get it back on it's base, like nothing ever happened.  I could see Teresa still laughing with tears in her eyes was no help!  I then  moved it's buttocks towards a wall, while trying to put it back together with no Head and went to find my brother Ken to berate him for no help.  

When I found him I said: "What kind of person  walks away from someone in need!?" He said: "What!?" After explaining just what happened & him reacting the same as Teresa. (I wanted to  kill them both) I then went and reported it to the lady behind the counter, who said: "You did What!? I bet the video is going to be fun to watch!"  

(She probably posted it to You-Tube or sold it to America's Funniest Videos for all I know).  My only regret not posting a "Go Fund Me" for the Therapy in being Traumatized by this!

Yes that's right "Fight Club" v.s. "Bike Club"  It all started with the Timing Belt going out on my Isuzu Trooper and not having any transportation, while it was in the shop being fixed. I thought it would only take a day to get sorted out, but owning an Imported truck means waiting for a part to be ordered from the Dealer. A mere few days, perhaps a week? Doing Laundry on a Boat

 Today's Helpful Tip - How to do Laundry aboard ship!:  First you let laundry pile up and even turn clothes inside out to get an extra day out of them, sometimes exchanging your clothes with others on the boat just so you won't look like your wearing the same thing all week. Then you take a large ice chest and throw your dirty clothes in and add soap and water.  Sea water is okay if you want that old Sailor smell too. Next you take a Plumber's helper and plunge the dirt out over and over,  just like the agitation cycle of a real washing machine. This helps build muscles like churning butter, if you lived on a farm. Next, unplug the drain hole of the cooler, this water shouldn't be used to clean dishes with. Next comes the Rinse cycle and thus may take a couple of times to get all that Soap out. After thoroughly rinsing,  hang clothes all over the boat rails. More Adventures, A Father's Day to Remember!

Father's Day! Well I just wanted to Thank the kids once again. They came and KIDNAPPED us and took us up to the farm after I got off work Saturday. (It took about 2 1/2 hours to drive there). I got to see Emily and Lester (and Lester had just got out of the hospital not too long ago, but he was happy to see me, as I have not been up there in about 10 years) and we All stayed up till about 2am. Tavis was feeling kinda sick before we left to go there and didn't want to go at first, but I am glad he did and he had Lester laughing as much as Lester had us laughing. We even had to try out Lester's hot tub that was complete with Disco lights and Disco music and even before I got in, I could hear little Toma & Tavis singing "Staying Alive" and almost didn't want to get in!
