How I was attacked by a Mannequin!

Image
MEMORY POST FROM "2016":  "How I was Attacked by a Mannequin!"  (TRUE STORY).   Not one person even Helped me!  I was minding my own business while perusing a thrift store yesterday when all of a sudden this Mannequin's Arm jumped towards my key-ring I was holding in my hand & then it's whole body followed.   No matter where my key-ring moved to, the arm would follow in that direction! The whole Mannequin had powerful magnets at every joint.  I looked at Teresa and saw her laughing so hard while moving away in another direction!  Meanwhile the weight of the mannequin, which was Heavy Metal under all that fake flesh was now stuck to my belt buckle, the Mannequin suddenly detached itself into 6 pieces that began to weigh me down onto the floor.   As sunk lower, I yelled: "Will somebody PLEASE Help Me!" (But no one did).  As I finally reached the floor, I tried to fling my big key-ring one direction, but an Arm followed it and body parts heaped o

Chair Attacked Me!

Image
So I'm sitting in this Cheap Plastic Lawn Chair, (Probably made in China). I'm like sitting there enjoying the afternoon Sun minding my own business, when all of a Sudden one chair leg folds up and breaks while I slammed into a plastic side table and my head hits a plate glass window on the back deck of my Hotel room!   I'm like laying in a strange position almost touching the floor, my feet still resting on top of an ice chest. My son Ezekiel comes out to ask me a question, never once commenting how why I look folded over and must therefore be normal.    I say in a squeaky little voice, as I was still trying to reclaim the air that was knock out of me. I say I'm hurt a d need help.  He closes the door and tells his mom: Dad might need your help. She says: I'm busy and he'll just have to wait.  So now neighbors come out and start looking at me and saying nothing.  The neighbor directly next door to me comes out just after I pick myself up and dusted off, only t

Waterbeds anyone?

Image
Remember Waterbeds? I had a great memory. I had a nice queen sized waterbed in the 70's that had a big square mirror hung on the wall at the head if the bed. One night I was having this dream. It was so vivid and it was like I was actually swimming in my dream, only the water was really warm. I was really enjoying how Real this dream felt to me, when suddenly I got water in my nose and woke up. You see somehow the mirror fell out if it's frame and slid down the wall and somehow slid to make contact with the waterbed mattress and sliced it, but the retaining liner didn't get cut through like the mattress. As the water seeped into the bed soaking up the blankets and my body slowly submerged into the water. My head was floating on my pillow and as it finally ever so slowly sunk down, water got into my nose and I woke laying there thinking how Real this damn dream was. It dawned on me I was swimming to keep afloat. Now it gets better than that, because as I climb out of bed to

Doing Laundry on a Boat

Image
Today's Helpful Tip - How to do Laundry aboard ship!:  First you let laundry pile up and even turn clothes inside out to get an extra day out of them, sometimes exchanging your clothes with others on the boat just so you won't look like your wearing the same thing all week. Then you take a large ice chest and throw your dirty clothes in and add soap and water.  Sea water is okay if you want that old Sailor smell too. Next you take a Plumber's helper and plunge the dirt out over and over,  just like the agitation cycle of a real washing machine. This helps build muscles like churning butter, if you lived on a farm. Next, unplug the drain hole of the cooler, this water shouldn't be used to clean dishes with. Next comes the Rinse cycle and thus may take a couple of times to get all that Soap out. After thoroughly rinsing,  hang clothes all over the boat rails. Being cautious when hanging bed sheets, as you might accidentally set sail. One last tip is not to wash all your

I purposely believe God is trying to get us farther away from cities, as I have been feeling we need to prepare just to survive.  20 years ago I worked on a project at a company in Silicon Valley that was approached by the World Bank, even before "Euros" were introduced as currency overseas.  My project team was asked to come up with a credit card number that could be issued to every person on the planet.  At the time Bar coding was just being introduced.  The  NSA (National Security Agency) as well as the world bank, was interested in having a plastic credit card encoded with a person's bank info, drivers license info and passport, all on one card, embedded on a magnetic strip on the back of it.  Just look at how credit cards and many State license's are today. Our team developed the card and tested it on 50 subject businessmen here in the United States, who traveled the world.   With their permission, these test subjects helped us to work out problems for this

Fight Club vs Bike Club!

Image
Yes that's right "Fight Club" v.s. "Bike Club"  It all started with the Timing Belt going out on my Isuzu Trooper and not having any transportation, while it was in the shop being fixed. I thought it would only take a day to get sorted out, but owning an Imported truck means waiting for a part to be ordered from the Dealer. A mere few days, perhaps a week? Who really knows?  So I thought walking would be good. The first day I needed food, so of course I had to walk to get it, only I cheated and took the bus. ("The Shame Train, as Tavis calls it!").  Next since I was bore and decided I wanted a movie to watch, but there were No Video Stores in that direction and it Forced me to have to walk all the way to "Circuit City". This is only 3 blocks away, but hell I still didn't want to have to walk there. Gee, I must be getting Lazy in my old age!  Then here I was at work yesterday after having to walk all the way there from home. It t

Now that the dust is settled, I want to Thank the kids for a wonderful Christmas Present!

I wanted to share my Heartfelt feelings in regards to the vacation we got to take before Christmas. You see Teresa and I had planned to visit Rossah & Imad in Las Vegas for a vacation and come home on Christmas Eve. But without proper coverage at work, I was told I could not go very far, in case of an Emergency. As you can imagine all the planning & Teresa was really looking forward to going away. We needed a trip! When Danielle and Toma surprised us with they got a special deal on a place right outside Yosemite Front Gate and they would be coming over with a car for us to drive and we would caravan there for the weekend, it meant we could have a mini vacation and it was close enough to get back to work, just in case. Of course we were already packed and ready to go, even before they showed up. I thought we would leave at 5am in the morning, but no - we left at 5pm in the afternoon and I realized I would be driving not only in the dark, but possible snow and black ice on the ro
